At this point, we know the feeling of heartbreak and horror all too well. The tragic shootings in Uvalde, TX, Buffalo NY and Laguna, CA didn’t have to happen. Neither did the 200+ other mass shootings that happened in this country this year. The devastating truth is that America is the only country where mass shootings happen regularly. Because voter restrictions and dark money have infected our democracy, our children aren’t safe in schools, churches, or grocery stores. Families are shattered. America suffers. The NRA has a deadly grip on the Republican Party at all levels and it’s keeping them from taking any action to protect us. It’s never been more critical to protect the power of the vote and give power back to the people instead of special interests. We share the overwhelming pain that people across the nation are feeling today. And we are saying ENOUGH.
