Ultimately, House control was decided by just a few thousand votes across a handful of districts. Then, earlier this summer, the Supreme Court struck down Alabama’s map for violating the Voting Rights Act, requiring a new, fair map be put in place before the next election. And now, according to experts, as many as 19 congressional districts across 12 different states could be reshaped ahead of the 2024 elections. That’s more than enough to tip control of the U.S. House of Representatives to either party. [This fight isn’t far off in the future – it's happening right now and NDRC is the tip of the spear.
