As long as voters have the opportunity to make their voices heard, Iâm confident we can get it done. The GOPâs far-right, anti-choice agenda repels voters. Republicans know this too â thatâs why theyâre committed to using tactics like gerrymandering and voter suppression to help them win elections by distorting the rules in their favor. [While MAGA Republicans continue undermining our Democracy and our elections, A.G. Holder and the NDRC are focused on ensuring every American has a say in our nationâs destiny. Iâm hoping to help the NDRC raise $20,000 by midnight tonight to power this important work. [Another amount]( While attacks on voting rights have been mounting, there has been good news. Earlier this month, the Supreme Court rejected arguments from Republicans calling for the dismantling of the Voting Rights Act. Instead, the Court reaffirmed the VRA as an important tool for making our elections more fair and more representative. And then, the Court issued another win for voters, rejecting a far-right theory that threatened our system of checks and balances. These were critical victories for our Democracy â and the visionary leadership of Eric Holder, the NDRC and its affiliates in our fight for fair maps was critical to this success. From his time as the 82nd Attorney General of the United States to his time as chairman of the NDRC, we have seen him step up time after time to protect our voting rights and defend the bedrock of our Democracy. [Iâm asking you to join me in supporting A.G. Holder and the NDRCâs efforts to fight for fairness, protect voting rights, and more so we can continue strengthening our Democracy. Will you make a contribution by midnight tonight? Anything you give will help us reach our $20,000 goal.]( We must be committed to standing together against the GOPâs shameless attacks on our Democracy, {NAME}.
