Rather than favoring one party over the other, the new maps were designed to favor the winner of Michigan’s statewide vote. - In 2022, the NDRC supported Democracy Defenders running across Michigan – and these candidates were able to compete on fair maps. Thanks to the help of this grassroots team, many of them won.
