I’m following up to explain why investing in these targets is so important to our work ahead. Redistricting no longer ends once the last state has adopted its maps; Republicans have admitted that they see it as a battle that continues year after year. And to defend democracy from right-wing attacks on fair maps, the freedom to vote, elections and election workers, and even the truth (including the truth about who won the 2020 presidential election), we now have to fight on more fronts than we ever imagined back in 2017.
