Twelve states controlled by the GOP have already passed 26 voter suppression laws in 2021. In many cases the same legislators who are pushing these bills are responsible for drawing the next decade's legislative maps, and they're openly plotting to manipulate the process. The attacks on American democracy don't end there. Republican leaders all over the country are repeating the Big Lie about a stolen election and attempting to replace fair election processes and officials with partisan rules and party hacks. And they’re telling lies about the federal legislation that would protect voters and election procedures -- the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. I'm worried, {NAME}. I'm worried that if we can't beat back their attacks, our elections could be rendered close to meaningless.
