[ {NAME} -- It's clear that combatting the GOP's voter suppression efforts is going to be an enormous challenge. Politico even reported that "Trump's political apparatus is taking a state-by-state approach" to limit voting. They may be going state by state -- but so are we. Since 2017, our multi-pronged strategy to end gerrymandering and voter suppression has meant that we fight state by state and tailor our work to create the most impactful results. [It's clear our fight isn't over by a long shot. Will you pitch in to help us hit our $25,000 mid-month goal so we can fight hard for the rest of 2020?]( This is our first mid-month goal since we saw just how far the GOP is willing to go to make sure they maintain majority rule with minority support. Last Tuesday, Wisconsin Republicans -- aided by conservatives on the state Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court -- insisted on going forward with an in-person election in the middle of a pandemic, despite the danger to public health. According to The New York Times, "[Wisconsin] stands as a first test case in... a protracted fight over changing voter rules to contend with the pandemic -- potentially the biggest voting rights battle since the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965." If we want to end GOP gerrymandering and voter suppression -- and we do -- then we have our work cut out for us. Will you pitch in now to help us raise $25,000 and fight for our democracy?
