Let’s take a look at just how Project 2025’s anti-democracy, anti-freedom agenda is being implemented by MAGA Republicans in Arkansas, right now: - This November, voters will not get the chance to vote on an abortion rights ballot initiative. - The far-right secretary of state rejected the abortion rights team’s ballot petition signatures, saying organizers didn’t correctly submit a paid canvasser training certification. - In a 4-3 decision, the state supreme court said that the secretary of state unequally applied laws around paid canvassers, but the justices refused to check that and right the wrong. - In the minority dissent, one justice said “the majority has succeeded in its efforts to change the law in order to deprive the voters of the opportunity to vote on this issue, which is not the proper role of this court.” - MAGA Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders said she’s “proud” that she built the conservative court majority that ushered this decision through. Project 2025 is a blueprint to dismantle our rights and overrule the will of the people.
