Our movement depends on a fair count

But now, Project 2025’s plan for the census would be even worse. Not only does Project 2025 call for green-lighting Trump’s racist and unconstitutional citizenship question on the census, it would also turn management of the census over to the same types of right-wing political operatives that authored Project 2025. They're clearly trying to reshape the census — which plays a critical role in the process of map drawing and redistricting, as well as allocating funds from the government. We know that our fight for fair maps and our movement to end partisan gerrymandering depends on a fair count of the voters.
