{NAME}, hey it?s Tim Walz ? Governor of Minnesota and Chair of the Democratic Governors Associat

["Governor Walz here, I need your help. Will you chip in to help elect more Democratic governors?" ]( {NAME}, hey it’s Tim Walz – Governor of Minnesota and Chair of the Democratic Governors Association – and I wanted to give you a quick rundown of everything that has happened in the past three days. [But first, will you rush $3 before midnight to help us defend our blue firewall and stop the spread of GOP extremism up and down the ballot this November and beyond?]( [Donate $3]( We know this year’s elections aren’t going to be an easy fight. But it’s more important than ever that we come together to rise above the politics of fear and division and get to work, because our democracy is on the line. Less than 48 hours ago, folks in 15 states across the country cast their ballots on Super Tuesday for the presidential primary. In North Carolina, Attorney General Josh Stein just became the official Democratic nominee! Governor Roy Cooper has done an incredible job for that state. But with him term-limited, Josh Stein is ready to hold this office for Democrats, build on our progress, and fight back against extremism. Speaking of extremism, radical conservative Mark Robinson was elected by Republican primary voters as their official nominee. Robinson has a long record of sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and antisemitism. He denies climate change, the 2020 election results, and even the Holocaust. And if he is elected, Robinson has pledged to make abortion completely illegal “for any reason.” This race will be one of the most consequential and competitive of 2024 – and the most expensive. The GOP is already pouring in millions of dollars to turn the state red, and targeting it as their best pick-up opportunity to weaken our blue firewall – especially since Republicans’ path to retaking the White House runs through North Carolina. Extremism vs. freedom. It’s as simple as that, {NAME}. And polling already shows this will be an incredibly close race. The stakes in November are crystal clear: If Republicans win, they won't hesitate to push the country backward and undo so much of the progress Democratic governors like myself and President Biden have fought so hard to win. That's why we can't waste ANY time. The GOP will be throwing every megadonor that they've got at us. But luckily, Democrats have something that they don't: grassroots supporters like you. In tough races like the ones this November, grassroots supporters are our most powerful allies – and grassroots dollars are our most effective resources. [So I ask of you {NAME}: Will you rush $3 – or more – before midnight to help us keep swing states like North Carolina blue and make sure we have all the resources we need this November and beyond?]( Please use the links in this email to start a monthly donation through ActBlue: [Donate $3]( [Donate $6]( [Donate $12]( [Or donate other amount](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) Thanks for stepping up, Tim Walz Governor of Minnesota Chair, Democratic Governors Association [As governor, Tim Walz has delivered real results that directly benefit working families, like expanding free school meals, paid family and medical leave, and standing up to protect reproductive rights.
