As we have seen in previous elections, it takes time to count every vote from every county. This process takes diligence. {NAME}, I want to start by saying thank you for your support throughout our entire campaign. As of right now, our race is currently too close to call. There are still ballots coming in and the margins are too close for anything to be called at this point. We know my opponent Kari Lake and her allies have been sowing doubt and confusion throughout this campaign, and it’s unacceptable that they were spreading misinformation this week while people were exercising their right to vote. [That’s why our focus is now making sure we have the resources to defend our democratic systems. But that means ramping up our campaign operations — so can you split a donation between my campaign and the Democratic Governors Association to support our democracy defense efforts, ensure every vote is properly counted, and help protect democracy for voters everywhere?]( County election officials are hard at work tabulating those votes.
