[Laura Carlson]( Hi there, team. It's Laura here, Chief Digital Officer at the DGA. Now that summer is underway, we're approaching the most critical moment of election season. ➡️ FIRST, we have the first presidential debate in less than 10 days. ➡️ THEN, we have the Democratic National Convention in August, a huge moment to get Democrats fired up. ➡️ That means NOW is the time for the DGA to start making some of our most important strategy decisions before voters head to the polls this fall. The choices we'll make from now until Election Day will make or break our chances to win competitive races across the country. That's where you come in, team. As one of our most reliable supporters in your area, you've been personally selected to participate in our urgent DGA Summer Priorities Survey. [Please, will you respond before this survey closes at midnight to help craft our strategy for the final crucial months of the election?]( [Take the Survey]( Everything that we care about is on the ballot this year: access to abortion, voting rights, the strength of our democracy, affordable health care, and the future of Social Security. And the presidential election isn't the only one with these issues at stake. This year, there are 11 gubernatorial races on the ballot. We have critical opportunities, including in swing states like NC and NH, to elect strong Democratic governors who will fight for progress – but if we lose, we risk electing radical right-wing extremists who will push us even further backward. We're counting on a united, grassroots team to defend our blue firewall, reelect President Biden, and make progress on the issues that matter most to families. [So please, take a moment to complete our DGA Summer Priorities Survey right now to help ensure that this team is fully equipped to take on the GOP – and win.]( [Take the Survey]( I'm so glad you're part of this team – thank you, team. Laura Carlson DGA Chief Digital Officer --------------------------------------------------------------- We’re relying on grassroots supporters to provide us with the urgent resources we need to win nationwide.
