Gretchen Whitmer have signed legislation to codify abortion rights into state law. - When abortion providers were threatened with criminal prosecution, Illinois’ Gov. JB Pritzker, Maryland’s Gov. Wes Moore, New Jersey’s Gov. Phil Murphy – and even more Dem govs – signed legislation to shield them from these attacks. - Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs vetoed an extreme bill restricting access to abortion rights and pushed lawmakers to repeal a Civil War-era abortion ban, and Wisconsin Gov.
