We’ve asked you once. We’ve asked you twice. In fact, we’ve asked you four times! But according to our May 2024 records, you STILL haven’t added your name to demand abortion rights be protected nationwide! Today marks the two-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision leak, and with abortion rights constantly under attack, we really need you to step up. [ Please, team, be one of the 35,000 grassroots supporters we need to sign our petition to demand abortion rights be protected! ]( [ADD MY NAME]( Since the May 2022 leak revealed conservative Justice Samuel Alito’s draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade and the Court’s impending decision to take away the rights of millions, there has been a new reproductive rights outrage almost every week. Just take a look at what has been happening in 2024 alone: - JUST YESTERDAY, Ron DeSantis’s draconian six-week abortion ban took effect in Florida. This effectively cuts off abortion access for more than 21 million women across nearly a dozen southern states. - In April, a state Supreme Court decision in Arizona brought back a civil war era ban on virtually all abortions. - And in late February, Alabama’s highest state court ruled that frozen embryos should be considered children, jeopardizing IVF fertility treatments in the state and prompting a national outcry. Fortunately, Democratic governors like Katie Hobbs immediately took action to protect access to reproductive freedom and haven’t stopped fighting back against these GOP attacks. They have worked to veto extreme abortion bans, codify life-saving health care into law, and protect freedom. But make no mistake: reproductive rights are on the ballot this November. Trump took responsibility for overturning Roe. North Carolina’s dangerous GOP nominee for governor, Mark Robinson, wants to pass an abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or even the life of the mother if elected. And in New Hampshire, both Republicans vying for the GOP nomination have attacked reproductive rights and promoted abortion bans! [On today’s anniversary, we’re launching a 35,000 signature goal on our petition to reaffirm our commitment to reproductive freedom. Team, sign our petition by midnight to demand abortion rights be protected!]( [ADD MY NAME]( --------------------------------------------------------------- We’re relying on grassroots supporters to provide us with the urgent resources we need to win nationwide.
