We’re doing something about it [Democratic Attorneys General Association]( {NAME}, This year alone, we’ve had over 600 mass shootings, and unfortunately, they’re part of our reality living in the United States. Every time there’s a mass shooting, Republican politicians largely sit on their hands and change the subject. Democrats, on the other hand, take action. Democratic attorneys general consistently work to pass common sense, bipartisan-backed gun safety reforms to curtail mass shootings. Dem AGs have: - Held illegal gun traffickers accountable and reduced the number of guns on the street - Supported local law enforcement efforts to reduce the number of untraceable and unregulated “ghost guns” through litigation - Invested in community programs that interrupt cycles of violence [Dem AGs work to keep our loved ones safe. Chip in now to keep these champions in office.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $5]( [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50]( From Massachusetts to Oregon, Dem AGs are working to protect Americans from the ever-present danger of guns. Americans shouldn’t have to fear going to the movies, their grocery store, or to school. A majority of Americans support gun safety measures, and in June, Congress even passed the first bipartisan gun safety bill since the 1990s. But this new bill isn’t sufficient enough to fully address the root causes of mass shootings – there are simply too many guns falling into the hands of the wrong people, and Republicans are doing nothing about that. Democratic AGs know how essential it is to keep our communities safe; that’s why they’re constantly working to get illegal and untraceable ghost guns off the streets and working on common-sense gun safety reforms. But this work can’t go on without your support. [Donate to DAGA so we can elect more Dem AGs who want Americans to feel safe living their lives.]( Thanks, DAGA Policy Team [Democratic Attorneys General Association] Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, [we need your support – will you chip in today?]( [CHIP IN]( If you’d like to receive less email from DAGA, fill out the form at this link and we’ll only send you the most important updates from the team.
