Are you ready to help us flip the Texas AG seat? {NAME}, it’s Michelle Ortiz, Executive Directo

Are you ready to help us flip the Texas AG seat? [Democratic Attorneys General Association]( {NAME}, it’s Michelle Ortiz, Executive Director of DAGA. You could not find a starker difference in Texas – my home state – between Democratic nominee for Texas AG Rochelle Garza and her opponent, indicted Republican AG Ken Paxton. Rochelle is a civil rights lawyer, and she’s running for Texas Attorney General because Texans are tired of corrupt and ineffective leadership. Ken Paxton is the epitome of a self-obsessed politician who thinks they can operate above the law, and we need to show him that there are consequences for abuse of power. [Chip in to DAGA today and help us take Republican AGs like Ken Paxton out of office, so they can no longer abuse the power given to them by their constituents.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $5]( [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50]( As I mentioned, AG Paxton is under indictment and facing an FBI investigation. Which is … not great for a sitting AG. On top of that, he’s repeatedly tried to make life more difficult for the most vulnerable members of his home state. This year alone he has sued the Biden administration so that he could try and deny LGBTQ+ students school lunches; and he’s affirmed his support for legal action against abortion providers, who are committed to protecting women’s reproductive rights, across one of our largest states. [Ken Paxton is dangerous, corrupt, and vulnerable. We need to send a message by electing Rochelle Garza instead. Donate to DAGA today to help us win critical races just like this one.]( Thank you all – let’s go win back Texas! Michelle Michelle Ortiz Executive Director Democratic Attorneys General Association [Democratic Attorneys General Association] Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, [we need your support – will you chip in today?]( [CHIP IN]( If you’d like to receive less email from DAGA, fill out the form at this link and we’ll only send you the most important updates from the team.
