We need them to know it's 2022, not 2020. [Democratic Attorneys General Association]( {NAME}, Republican AGs and candidates aren’t just ignoring the issues that matter to our communities this election. This is hard to understand, but they’re literally still fighting about the 2020 election. It’s astounding that Trump endorsees like Michigan’s Republican AG candidate Matt DePerno continue to spread misinformation rather than focus on the important issues facing Michiganders. Earlier this year, DePerno tweeted “What a HORRIBLE ANNIVERSARY! It’s been ONE YEAR since Biden took office and the election was STOLEN!” So please, if anyone knows Matt DePerno, tell him to reconsider some of the old tweets. It’s embarrassing. [It almost doesn’t need to be said, but we’ll say it anyway: People like Matt DePerno, who are intent on spreading lies about elections, should not be in positions of power. Chip in $10 today and help us reelect pro-democracy Dem AG Dana Nessel instead.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $5]( [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50]( If you are fortunate enough to not know Matt DePerno, then there’s another way that you can help. We reach voters across the country with our digital ads and outreach programs. Those programs can only operate thanks to donations from you: our grassroots base of supporters. [If you’re able, chip in $10 to DAGA today and make sure that we can keep election-denying, Trump-obsessed candidates like Matt DePerno from winning in states like Michigan.]( Thanks, DAGA Election Protection Team [Democratic Attorneys General Association] Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, [we need your support – will you chip in today?]( [CHIP IN]( If you’d like to receive less email from DAGA, fill out the form at this link and we’ll only send you the most important updates from the team.
