Dem AGs are a critical asset in the fight for reproductive rights [Democratic Attorneys General Association] {NAME}, NARAL Pro-Choice America, one of the nation’s largest reproductive rights advocacy groups, just endorsed AGs Josh Kaul from Wisconsin, Dana Nessel from Michigan, and Phil Weiser from Colorado, all three of whom are running in critical battleground states in November. This slate of endorsements comes at a crossroads in the fight for the future of reproductive justice and abortion access in our country – especially considering the dangerous and backwards legislation Republicans have passed in states like Texas. Dem AGs believe every single person should make their own decisions about their reproductive health without input from the government. Dem AGs are often the last line of defense against extremist conservative attacks on our bodily autonomy. [Donate today to help us reelect as many pro-choice Dem AGs as we can in 2022.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $5]( [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $15]( [DONATE $25]( Last year, Dem AGs Kaul, Nessel, and Weiser were part of a coalition of Dem AGs who filed a brief opposing Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban; and this year, the Supreme Court will issue a ruling on a case challenging that ban. SCOTUS’s ruling on this case could end the constitutional right to an abortion. The stakes are high for the future of reproductive justice. Dem AGs have fought time and time again to protect reproductive care and abortion access, and we need them in office now more than ever. That’s why AGs Kaul, Nessel, and Weiser earned this important NARAL endorsement. Reproductive justice is on the ballot this year. We need to elect a slate of Dem AGs who will continue to defend our communities – especially Black, Brown, LGBTQIA+, and low income communities who are particularly vulnerable to Republican attacks. [Chip in right now to celebrate this endorsement and help us build a coalition that will allow Dem AGs to continue their work protecting our constitutional right to an abortion.]( Thanks, Team DAGA [Democratic Attorneys General Association] Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, [we need your support – will you chip in today?]( [CHIP IN]( If you’d like to receive less email from DAGA, fill out the form at this link and we’ll only send you the most important updates from the team.
