As Nevada Attorney General, I’ve worked hard to protect our right to vote. Here’s why it

As Nevada Attorney General, I’ve worked hard to protect our right to vote. Here’s why it’s so important in 2022. [Democratic Attorneys General Association] {NAME}, Nevada AG Aaron Ford here. It’s been more than a year since the riot at the U.S. Capitol where Trump loyalists sought to overturn the 2020 election – and since then, the threat to our democracy has only grown. This year alone, Republican-controlled legislatures in states like Georgia, Texas, and Florida have passed restrictive voting laws that reject ballot applications and make it harder for voters to exercise their fundamental right to vote and to have their voices heard. During my tenure, I have fought tirelessly against state-level voter suppression campaigns – just as I have worked to uphold and protect the integrity of our elections. It’s critical that Democratic AGs are in office in every swing state to protect a safe and fair electoral system in 2022, 2024, and beyond. [If you can, {NAME}, chip in $10 to DAGA right now so we’ll have the resources we need to keep Dem AGs in office in states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and my home, Nevada.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $3]( [DONATE $5]( [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( Nevada is just one of many closely contested AG races that we have this year. In 2018, I won my race for AG by less than one percent, and this year’s race is expected to be just as close. This grassroots effort is going to require everyone’s help. And I mean everyone. [Make a contribution to DAGA right now to protect vulnerable Dem AGs in 2022, and support the effort to keep our democratic system alive.]( Thanks, Aaron [AG Ford]( Aaron Ford Attorney General, Nevada [Democratic Attorneys General Association] Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, [we need your support – will you chip in today?]( [CHIP IN]( If you’d like to receive less email from DAGA, fill out the form at this link and we’ll only send you the most important updates from the team.
