The GOP is trying to gerrymander their way to a House majority in 2022. If you've saved payment info

The GOP is trying to gerrymander their way to a House majority in 2022. [Democratic Attorneys General Association] I'll cut to the chase, {NAME}. Republicans are setting themselves up to take back the House in 2022 by engineering a heavily partisan redistricting process. Some experts predict that the GOP will take back at least five seats in the House just by drawing new maps that are heavily gerrymandered to help elect Republican candidates. And of the 12 states that have completed the redistricting process so far, Republicans are likely to gain an advantage in Iowa, North Carolina, Texas and Montana. That news should shock us, because Democrats only hold an eight seat advantage in the House and it’s imperative that Democrats protect our communities. Democratic AGs have fought to protect the right to vote and our democracy over the past year, and we need to elect more pro-democracy champions to fight against Republicans who are subverting our democratic processes. [Chip in $3 right now to help elect Dem AGs who will advocate for our most vulnerable communities at the state level.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $3]( [DONATE $5]( [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( House Democrats are fighting an uphill battle heading into 2022. The existing congressional maps from the 2010 census were heavily gerrymandered to begin with, and these maps will only get tougher for Democrats once this year’s redistricting process is complete. Democratic AGs were the last line of defense against Republican attacks during the Trump administration, and we’re going to need them again if more Trump-esque candidates who are like Madison Cawthorn and Marjorie Taylor-Greene find their way to Congress in 2022. We may only have a few months left with this Democratic supermajority, and we cannot afford to let a single close AG race slip away.
