Here are the latest updates: [Democratic Attorneys General Association] It’s Election Day across the country, including statewide elections in Virginia and New Jersey, so we want to make sure that all of our supporters get out and vote. Be sure to check if your locality has any elections, and if they do, please go find your polling place and cast your ballot. [Click here or go to iwillvote.com to find more information on what you need to vote and where you can vote.]( {NAME}, Right now, as hundreds of thousands of people vote in their local and statewide elections, Republicans are doing everything they can to enact a far-right conservative agenda that was handed to them by deep-pocketed, anti-democracy donors. And let’s be clear: Republican Attorneys General are leading the charge of this extremist, anti-democracy, anti-science push. We know we’ve sent a lot of messages about Virginia over the past few days – because the stakes are that high – but here’s what GOP AGs have been up to: 🟥 A group of 18 Republican AGs filed three lawsuits against the Biden administration’s common-sense COVID vaccine mandate that will protect our families, communities, and workplaces from the deadly pandemic. 🟥 Arizona’s pro-Trump Republican AG Mark Brnovich started an “investigation” into the 2020 election results after an “election audit” run by Trump cronies showed that Biden won by an even larger margin than previously reported. Anti-democracy AG Brnovich is doing this despite certifying President Biden’s victory in Arizona last year. 🟥 Indicted Texas Republican AG Ken Paxton’s office defended the state’s far-right abortion ban in the Supreme Court yesterday. AG Paxton is one of many Republican AGs defending extremist conservative abortion bans in courts across the country. Look, {NAME}, stopping these pro-Trump Republicans has to be at the top of our priority list in the next year. If we don’t, we’re not kidding when we say that our democracy hangs even further in the balance. The good news is that there are more than 30 Attorney General seats up for grabs next year. And around this time, on Election Day 2022, we want to celebrate as many Democratic AG victories as we possibly can. [Can you donate $3 to help us invest in key 2022 AG races right now? This headstart could be the difference between winning elections and protecting our communities – or not.]( [DONATE $3]( Thanks, Team DAGA [Democratic Attorneys General Association] Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in the next two years, [we need your support – will you chip in today?]( [CHIP IN]( If you’d like to receive less email from DAGA, fill out the form at this link and we’ll only send you the most important updates from the team.
