The best of Dem AGs on Twitter. [Democratic Attorneys General Association] {NAME}, you know the Democratic Attorneys General as superstars in the courtroom, the People’s Lawyers, and our democracy’s watchdogs. But did you know they’re also great on social media? As someone who spends a lot of time online, I get to see all their best posts – so I rounded up some favorites from July. Check it out: [We miss you, Congressman Lewis. I, for one, will keep getting in #GoodTrouble' -@AaronDFordNV]( Every single Dem AG is committed to realizing the future that the late Congressman John Lewis fought so admirably for – one of justice, of equity, and “love in action.” ❤️ ['Abortion care is health care and should be accessible to all' -@MarkHerringVA]( Dem AG Mark Herring (VA), who is up for re-election this year, is a fierce advocate for our reproductive freedoms, at a time when right-wing extremists are working to abolish the right to an abortion completely. 👏 ['The Senate must pass the #EqualityAct to strengthen protections for the LGBTQ community' - @EllenRosenblum]( Dem AGs are devoted to protecting and expanding the rights of every single LGBTQIA+ person – especially as a surge of discriminatory bills pours in from statehouses across the country. 🏳️‍🌈 ['LIE: Republicans claim we need an 'audit' in Pennsylvania. TRUTH: There have been two bipartisan audits in Pennsylvania. Both showed that Joe Biden won and that our elections were safe and secure.' - @JoshShapiroPA]( And, Trump loyalists are demanding a bogus “audit” of Pennsylvania’s 2020 election results, which would drain millions of taxpayer dollars and compromise voters’ privacy – all to keep “voter fraud” conspiracy theories alive. Dem AGs are pushing back in our defense.🗳️ ['Zaila is amazing in so many ways - and I've got some new tricks to try out!' - @maura_healey]( OK, this one has nothing to do with politics. But I know AG Maura Healey (MA) can do anything she puts her mind to – so I expect to see a video of her following Zaila’s lead and unicycling around Boston while dribbling multiple basketballs soon. 🏀 [{NAME}, that’s just a quick glimpse of what Dem AGs have been up to recently. If you’re feeling inspired, chip in $15 to help power their work today!]( [DONATE]( Thanks, Emily Emily Rossi Director of Digital Media Democratic Attorneys General Association [Democratic Attorneys General Association] Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in the next two years, [we need your support – will you chip in today?]( [CHIP IN]( If you’d like to receive less email from DAGA, fill out the form at this link and we’ll only send you the most important updates from the team.
