[But we proved them wrong —]( in 2018 we defeated more NRA backed politicians than ever before in U.S. history. They threw everything they had at us to keep NRA puppets like Donald Trump in power. [But once again, we proved them wrong —]( we beat Trump in 2020, and even elected 25-year-old March For Our Lives organizer Maxwell Frost to Congress. [We really can turn the tide on the far-right, {NAME}. But Republicans have been quietly working up and down the ballot to ban abortions, ban books, gut our healthcare, revoke LGBTQ+ rights, and repeal common sense gun laws… So we can’t afford to get complacent.]( We simply can’t fight back and defeat these attacks without grassroots resources and support.
