{NAME} -- Tomorrow is Independence Day, and I hope you've got fun plans to celebrate with loved ones, food, and plenty of fireworks! But it is important to remember that, once we’ve eaten all the potato salad and sparkled all the sparklers, our resistance is still going to have a HUGE fight on our hands. Republicans in the Senate are actively working on a plan to enable the passage of Trumpcare in the coming weeks. And if they manage to cut a deal, it will all but insure that tens of millions of Americans lose their access to health care. This next week presents a fantastic opportunity for us to turn up the pressure on our representatives. Because of the holiday, our Senators are spending time in their districts on recess -- and we want to make sure that they hear a LOT of opposition to Trumpcare. Democracy for America members across the country are making plans right now to deliver our "Stop Trumpcare" petition to every local Senate office, as many times as possible. [Can you take a moment out of your day on Thursday, July 6 to take a stand against Trumpcare? Click here to look up your Senators' offices and find a delivery near you -- or schedule your own!]( Thanks for pitching in to stop Trumpcare over the recess. Hope you have a fantastic holiday tomorrow! - Mari Mari Schimmer, Organizing Director Democracy for America [DONATE]( Paid for by Democracy for America, and not authorized by any candidate.
