{NAME}, Dark money is flowing in to give power back to extremist Republicans. Just look no further than Senate Republicans stopping a campaign finance bill that would require political groups to disclose big donors. That dark money goes into countless misleading attack ads smearing DFA-endorsed candidates like Cheri Beasly, Mandela Barnes, and Stacey Abrams. We cannot continue to allow these groups to anonymously influence our politics with an onslaught of secret money. With the stroke of a pen, President Biden can issue a contractor disclosure executive order which would shine a light on secret money in politics by requiring contractors that receive over $1 million in federal dollars to disclose their political spending. This would be the first major blow to secret money in politics since the Citizens United ruling in 2010. [Sign and send the petition to President Biden: Issue an executive order requiring federal contractors to disclose all of their political spending.]( [TAKE ACTION]( Americans deserve to know who is trying to influence them, and what they want from the government but since the disastrous 2010 Citizens United decision, dark money groups have spent billions buying elections. This means that nearly our nation's wealthiest families and organizations are effectively bankrolling our elections for personal gain. States like California and Washington have already passed DISCLOSE Acts that increase transparency and combat secret money. Now it's time for President Biden to act since Senate Republicans won’t.
