{NAME}, the electoral picture is becoming clearer by the minute: Joe Biden will be the next President of the United States. Kamala Harris will be the next Vice President, the first woman and person of color to hold that position. Americans voted in overwhelming numbers to deliver an unambiguous rejection of Donald Trump's bigoted, corrupt, and anti-democratic agenda. And the presidency isn’t our only victory. 42 DFA-endorsed candidates up and down the ballot secured wins. We re-elected the entire Squad: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, and Rep. Ayanna Pressley. And we re-elected progressives who flipped at-risk seats in 2018, including Rep. Katie Porter, Rep. Mike Levin, and... as of this morning, Rep. Lauren Underwood! 12 more races are too close to call right now. But in all of them, our candidates are in the lead. Our Protect America's Vote campaign helped secure Michigan and Wisconsin for Joe and Kamala. In the next few days and weeks, we'll see that it also officially flipped Pennsylvania, Arizona, and GEORGIA!!! And Rev. Raphael Warnock will lead a two race run-off in Georgia that will decide who controls the Senate. Our strategy works. Our candidates lead, fight, and win. We drove record turnout of infrequent and newly-registered voters from the presidential race all the way down to local district attorneys and city councils. We worked with allies on the ground and online to engage and mobilize the new American majority of people of color and white progressives needed to win up and down the ballot nationwide. But our work is not finished. We can still flip the Senate on January 5. And we'll need to work with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to deliver results for America. We need you to keep stepping up to make it possible. Support this work and keep DFA strong for the many tough fights ahead to flip the Senate and deliver progressive change for America: If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Chip in $5 now]( [Chip in $25 now]( [Chip in $50 now]( [Chip in $100 now]( [Chip in $250 now]( [Another Amount]( This is an extraordinary moment for our nation. A coalition of Americans across the country came together to reject the bigotry and hate of the last four years, deliver a mandate for change, and elect the daughter of Black and Asian-American immigrant parents to the Vice Presidency. It is a historic victory for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and our nation as a whole. It’s also a historic win for YOU and all the work YOU did to make it happen. Tonight, we celebrate. And tomorrow, we will continue leading the fight for progressive change. — Charles Charles Chamberlain, Chair Democracy for America Paid for by Democracy for America, democracyforamerica.com and not authorized by any candidate.
