{NAME}, On Friday, it was announced that Trump’s deportation force was planning to start raiding 2,000 immigrant families in ten cities today. With support from grassroots activists and every-day citizens alike, mayors and Democratic leaders in Congress fought back, stood up, and said ‘not on our watch.’ And we won -- yesterday, Trump took to Twitter to announce that the ICE raids would be postponed, but only for two weeks. Without rapid legislative action in Congress, which seems highly unlikely given Trump and McConnell’s refusal to pass any immigration reform without getting billions in dollars for his xenophobic wall, he declared the deportations will begin: [We have to stop him.
