{NAME} -- When Democracy for America asked me what I thought was radical about my campaign, my answer was simple: nothing. Ending a system of pretrial bail, decriminalizing sex work and recreational drugs, and centering community solutions isn’t radical. It is simply a radical change from the status quo. For the last thirty years, the Queens District Attorney has propped up a justice system that punishes marginalized communities through racial and economic bias. We now have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to revolutionize our justice system and reimagine what is possible when you put a public defender in the District Attorney's office. Our campaign will bring transformative justice to Queens. [Can you join other Democracy for America members today and split a donation between my campaign and Democracy for America -- so that together we can fight to get out the vote in Queens ahead of my June 25th election?]( Since the beginning, Democracy for America has sought out and supported candidates who refuse to toe the traditional party line, and their members have worked tirelessly to provide the type of grassroots support candidates like me need to win. That’s why this endorsement is so important to me. Over the next few months, our campaign will be out in the community every day, talking to our neighbors about the issues most impacting them, and building a diverse coalition of Queens residents ready to bring justice to the District Attorney’s office. My opponents in this race are career politicians and prosecutors who have millions in the bank. In order to win this race, I am going to need the support of grassroots activists like yourself. [Chip in $3 today to support my grassroots campaign to become the next Queens District Attorney.]( Together, we can transform the justice system from a mechanism of oppression into a place of opportunity and equality. -Tiffany Tiffany Cabán, DFA Endorsed Candidate Queens District Attorney Paid for by Democracy for America, democracyforamerica.com and not authorized by any candidate.
