{NAME} -- Joe Arpaio is running for U.S. Senate. That's right: the bigoted, white supremacist, Trump

{NAME} -- Joe Arpaio is running for U.S. Senate. That's right: the bigoted, white supremacist, Trump-loving former Sheriff of Maricopa County -- convicted of contempt of court for racial profiling -- has announced he wants to be elected as a U.S. Senator from Arizona this fall. Arpaio is going to run on an anti-immigrant platform at a time when Donald Trump is stepping up his war on every immigrant in this country. Trump is breaking up families, deporting innocent people, and even taking away citizenship from some immigrants. He keeps trying to ban Muslim immigrants from entering our country. He wants to limit legal migration to this country. And just this week, the Trump Administration announced they are going to kick more than 200,000 Salvadoran immigrants out of this country -- many who have been here for two decades. Those are the policies Arpaio is running to uphold. We must fight back. DFA members are supporting progressive candidates in Arizona and across America who have proven their commitment to fight for all immigrants. [Stand up to Joe Arpaio: Chip in $3 or more to help DFA elect progressive candidates who will fight for all immigrants.]( DFA has endorsed progressive candidates for 2018 who have demonstrated they will fight to protect all immigrants. Several of them are running in Arizona this year -- a key election in a critical swing state: - Rep. Ruben Gallego a leading anti-Trump, pro-choice progressive who just got a right-wing anti-abortion primary challenger in his Phoenix district - Mary Matiella, running for Congress in a key swing district along the U.S.-Mexico border - David Garcia, fighting for an Arizona that works for everyone. He's a veteran, a teacher and a fighter for Arizona families who would be the state's first Latino governor in decades. - January Contreras, running to be the first Latina Attorney General of Arizona Joe Arpaio's worst nightmare would be to lose his election and watch these candidates win on a platform of standing with and fighting for all immigrants. You can make that come true right here in 2018. [Show Joe Arpaio that we are going to fight him and everything he stands for: Chip in $3 or more to elect real progressives in 2018 who will stand up for all immigrants.]( Thank you for fighting Joe Arpaio and standing with immigrants. - Jim Jim Dean, Chair Democracy for America [DONATE]( Paid for by Democracy for America, and not authorized by any candidate.
