BREAKING: New polls in U.S. Senate special election

{NAME} -- Two new polls confirm that Democrat and civil rights leader Doug Jones has a real shot at defeating the radical white supremacist Roy Moore in the upcoming special election to fill Jeff Sessions's U.S. Senate seat in Alabama. The first poll, by Decision Desk HQ, has Moore up by just 5 points, 50% to 45%. The second poll, by JMC Analytics and Polling, has Moore up by 8 points, 48% to 40%. Both polls not only show a close race -- they also show Moore is at or below the 50% mark, meaning he's vulnerable. This is going to be an uphill battle.
