Louisiana — Democratic Governor John Bel Edwards is term-limited and can’t run for re-election, and it’s going to take all of us to defeat the field of GOP extremists running to replace him. Mississippi — Incumbent Republican Governor Tate Reeves has been a nightmare for Mississippi, and is now more vulnerable than ever. Electing Democratic governors in red states serves as a check on the otherwise unmitigated power of GOP-controlled state legislatures.
