The implications of this decision are monumental. {NAME}, We have entered into a new era in modern American history. Roe v. Wade, one of the most important Supreme Court rulings ever, was struck down by the ultraconservative majority yesterday. [We can feel powerless at times like this, but we can’t stop fighting. Will you donate today to help DLGA write checks for pro-choice Democrats running at the statewide level?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $10 →]( [DONATE $20 →]( [DONATE $50 →]( The implications of this decision are monumental. We have already seen the repercussions of it in states like Oklahoma where the Republican controlled state government has already passed a ban on abortion. As an elected official, a woman, and as a mom this is extremely disturbing to watch unfold. With Roe off the books, reproductive rights are now in the hands of the states. Despite this, in Oregon abortion is legal and has one of the strongest abortion access laws in the country that protects the right to safely access reproductive care, with the Reproductive Health Equity Act. But, {NAME}, this wouldn’t have been possible without a Democratically controlled state government in Oregon. That’s why organizations like the DLGA need your support. [DLGA is the only organization committed to electing Democrats to Lieutenant Governor offices across the country, and with Roe gone, we need to make sure we keep states like Oregon Blue so we can keep protecting reproductive rights at the state level. Can you chip in a donation today to defend reproductive freedom post-Roe?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $10 →]( [DONATE $20 →]( [DONATE $50 →]( Thank you, {NAME}.
