The Supreme Court’s MAGA justices are threatening to use decisions to take power away from the elected branches and consolidate it amongst themselves.| [demand justice logo]( {NAME}:  Ever since Senate Republicans enabled President Trump to appoint a third of the Supreme Court, the MAGA supermajority has eliminated our right to abortion, made it harder to prevent school shootings, allowed massive corporations to pollute our air and water, helped politicians suppress our votes, and so much more.  Now, the Supreme Court’s MAGA justices are threatening to use decisions to take power away from the elected branches and consolidate it amongst themselves. They want to take away even more of our rights, making our and our children’s lives less safe and secure. Congress has the power to prevent this–and they must.  [While they are gearing up to further this relentless power grab, we must be even more relentless in stopping them. Join us:](  STOP THE RELENTLESS POWER GRAB: VIRTUAL COMMUNITY KICKOFF Wednesday, April 24 8:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM CT / 6:00 PM MT / 5:00 PM PT This event will have closed captioning. [RSVP HERE]( Though the Supreme Court justices are not elected by the American people, they’re put on the Court by leaders who are. And these elected leaders have a choice to make: Stand up to the MAGA justices’ relentless power grab by committing to fix the Supreme Court OR enable them to take more control over our communities.  It’s time for us to leverage our collective voice to hold Congress accountable and demand they fight for our freedoms.  [We’re coming together as organizers and advocates across the country to prepare to do just that. See you there.](   Demand Justice is leading the fight to make sure our courts work for all of us in order to protect our rights and democracy.                                          Sent via [ActionNetwork.org](.
