#DelgadoDispatch   IN THE NEWS   AROUND THE DISTRICT   Paid for by Antonio Delgado for Congress D

#DelgadoDispatch [Image] Hi {NAME}, I hope that your 2022 is off to a great start. I’m eager to share with you our first #DelgadoDispatch of the year! As we navigate another surge of COVID cases during the winter months, we once again are seeing frontline workers in health care, education, and supply chains – the real heroes of this pandemic – tirelessly carry the burden of our collective health. COVID-19 has not yet been defeated, but I can already see more folks recognizing the importance of taking care of themselves and others around them. Showing compassion could be a difference-maker for someone’s life, which is why I always endorse leading with love. As a country, we are steering in the right direction to come out of this pandemic stronger. We must take this opportunity, however, to look deep into ourselves and reflect on how we can create a better country for others. We’ve recently seen a national outcry for the Senate to pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and expand voting access in the face of voter suppression efforts by state legislatures across the country. We have also seen a sustained attack on reproductive rights and nearly 50 years of Roe v. Wade precedent. This is why I’m a proud sponsor of the Women’s Health Protection Act, which many of you chose to become citizen co-sponsors of over the past month. This would keep the right to access abortion care throughout the United States protected. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but I'm inspired by the opportunity to meet the moment. Together, when we center love and compassion, we can and will overcome. We’ve done it many times before, and we can do it again. With love, Antonio [DONATE](   IN THE NEWS [The Leader-Herald]( [Rep.
