Independence Day 2021

# Happy Independence Day, {NAME}! Independence Day gives me a further appreciation for what we've built here at Team Delgado: A campaign grounded in love and compassion in order to help our country achieve a more perfect union. Navigating our way through the pandemic was probably one of the hardest things we've had to do. But our dedication to one another as Americans has revealed a profound level of resilience and perseverance. And while we still have work to do, the vast majority of us made efforts to social distance, get vaccinated, wear masks, and so much more -- all to protect one another, including those we don't know. Because we chose to put our fellow Americans' safety above all, we're in a place where countless folks are vaccinated and we're seeing COVID hospitalizations and cases plummet. We're even going to have what will seem like a “normal” 4th of July, full of parades, BBQs, and firework celebrations. In the Declaration of Independence, our country anchors itself in the promise of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. So today and every day, as we celebrate the founding of our democracy, let's recommit to fulfilling this promise and work toward advancing our great nation always.
