They don’t get a vote. Will you be their voice? They don’t get a vote. Will you be their voice? ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [header logo with donate button]( [Two Gray Wolves © LeFion/iStockphoto]( Defender, Did you notice something during last night’s debate? Last night, not a single word was uttered from the stage regarding the unfolding crisis facing wolves and other wildlife: Over 300 gray wolves could be wiped out in Montana alone in the coming months. This session of Congress is on track for a record-breaking number of attacks – well over 100 – on the Endangered Species Act, a life-saving tool for wolves and other wildlife. Wildlife like wolves don’t have a vote – they are counting on us to be their voice. [Donate right now to help raise an emergency $48,000 before September 13 to defend wolves and other wildlife.]( [DONATE: WOLVES DON’T GET A VOTE]( Gray wolves in the lower 48 are under attack from all directions. Rep. Lauren Boebert’s cruelly mis-named “Trust the Science Act” would gut life-saving protections in the ESA that many wolves depend on. At the same time, in just days the Fish and Wildlife Service could double down on its previous effort to ensure vital protections for gray wolves in the lower 48 are permanently removed. If the FWS decides to abandon gray wolves across the lower 48, these majestic animals may face the same horrific fate as those in the Northern Rockies. One thing is certain: The anti-wildlife extremists have already infiltrated the halls of power - from Capitol Hill to statehouses across the country. We need your help to hold them off. [Will you be a voice for the voiceless and donate right now to ensure we have the critical resources needed to fight whatever might come our way?]( Sincerely, Mike Senatore SVP, Conservation Programs Defenders of Wildlife Defenders of Wildlife 1130 17th Street NW • Washington, DC 20036 defenders.org --------------------------------------------------------------- Photo Credit: Two Gray Wolves © LeFion/iStockphoto This email was sent to {EMAIL} [Update]( your email preferences or [unsubscribe]( [supporter]
