Without more protections, Red Wolves will keep dying. Lend your support to help us save this species

Without more protections, Red Wolves will keep dying. Lend your support to help us save this species! Without more protections, Red Wolves will keep dying. Lend your support to help us save this species! ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [header logo with donate button]( [Red Wolf Lounging with Ears Back © RDeMaster/iStockphoto]( Defender, Tragic news out of North Carolina: Another endangered Red Wolf, one of just a handful living in the wild, has been struck by a vehicle and killed. The two-year-old Red Wolf was part of the Milltail Pack. Now the pack will have to continue on without one of their own. [Red Wolves need our help: We’re fighting to deliver wildlife crossings and other vital protections to prevent future tragedies. Help us save their lives by pitching in today!]( This isn’t the first time this pack has lost a pack member to vehicle collisions. This Red Wolf’s father was killed on the same road just last year. The pain of this incident goes far beyond these individual deaths. Red Wolves are fighting for their survival in the Carolinas. Each loss threatens to bring the species one step closer to the edge of extinction. Their future is in our hands. We’re working with agencies to ensure Red Wolves can recover and return to their historic habitat in the Southeast. Saving these wolves is a full-time job, and we can only keep up this effort with your support! [GIVE TO PROTECT RED WOLVES]( Defender, with your help we’ll do all we can to protect Red Wolf families from harm.
