Believe me: Your voice does not go unheard. Everything you share is taken into account as we continually update our strategy. So this time, I want to share some of the insight I've gained from this team and how I'm prioritizing it in my campaign to flip Florida blue. But before I get started, this will be a pretty in-depth response. [If you're short on time, and trust me to fight for you in the Senate, will you chip in toward my daily $125,000 goal to help me flip Florida blue?]( [CONTRIBUTE]( In order, the top four issues that have "kept you up at night" are attacks on our democracy, GOP extremism, the future of seniors' benefits, and climate change — and I couldn't agree more. The GOP's attacks on districting, voter registration, schooling, and free speech here have left too many potential voters alienated from political participation. By design, their anti-democratic schemes make it that much harder to hold these extremist leaders accountable. Ya no más, {NAME}. That's why I spend so much time on the road meeting voters and running get-out-the-vote programs — it's the only way this team will earn the votes we need to win. In Congress, I wrote the plan to expand Medicare and earned a 100% rating from the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. I also successfully fought for $200 million to preserve the Keys and Everglades, and $10 million more of FEMA aid funds in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. I'm committed to delivering results, and I have the record to prove it — but I can't keep it up without your help. [Will you donate to help me win this race and deliver more progress for you in the Senate?]( [CONTRIBUTE]( 85% of survey respondents said that Democrats should prioritize passing gun safety reforms. When I was 24, I lost my dad to gun violence. This issue is deeply personal to me, and it's why I fight, day in, day out, to expand background checks, close loopholes in gun laws that leave domestic abuse survivors at risk, and win long-term investments in community violence intervention programs. Another 85% of respondents say they're either very or extremely worried about Florida's increasingly-strict abortion bans. As a woman and a mom to two young women, I'll never give up the fight for our freedom to choose what's best for our bodies and families. Between Dobbs, Ron DeSantis' dangerous abortion ban in Florida, and Rick Scott's efforts to ban abortion nationwide, the GOP's attacks on reproductive rights are outdated and dangerous. That's why I talk so much about passing Florida's ballot initiative to restore them in our state constitution, and why I vow to protect them on the national level in the Senate — we simply can't go back. Finally, over two-thirds of all respondents expressed their commitment to my campaign's fight to flip Florida blue. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You are the reason I'm running to represent Florida. Your priorities are at the heart of everything I do. And {NAME}, your support is the only way I'll win this race — [so ahead of tonight's]( daily deadline, can I please count on your support to keep up the fight for Florida's seat, keep the Senate blue, and deliver results for you and your family?]( Please use the links in this email to start a weekly donation through ActBlue. [DONATE $5]( [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50]( [DONATE ANOTHER AMOUNT]( Thank you for reading this, and everything you do, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell P.S. — If you didn't get a chance to share your thoughts with me, you can still add your voice to my August priority survey here: [( --------------------------------------------------------------- [Contribute]( Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is a Floridian, South American immigrant, mother, and former Congresswoman.
