Hi. I?m Congressman Jared Huffman and I?m emailing you today to discuss something very important

Hi. I’m Congressman Jared Huffman and I’m emailing you today to discuss something very important and scary – Project 2025. If you haven’t heard about Project 2025, it’s a nearly 1,000-page manifesto on what Steve Bannon and MAGA insiders plan to do in the first 180 days of a second Trump administration. In short, a plan like Project 2025 could: - Ban abortions without exceptions - Allow Trump to deploy the military against American citizens - Put Medicare on a path to privatization - Slash taxes for big corporations - Undo marriage equality - Pardon January 6th insurrectionists - And that’s just the beginning. Democrats must have a strong, coordinated strategy to confront this threat and stop it before it’s too late. That’s why I’ve stepped up to launch the Stop Project 2025 Task Force with fourteen of my colleagues. [We’re going up against the massive dark money machine behind Project 2025, and the entire unhinged MAGA movement. We can win, because most Americans – if they know about Project 2025 – will agree with us. But we have a lot of work to do in the weeks ahead to spotlight this terrible plan and activate a powerful grassroots coalition to defeat it. Can you chip in $3 or whatever you can afford to help House Democrats stand up against Republican extremists?]( If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Chip in $3 immediately >>]( [Chip in $20.24 immediately >>]( [Chip in $50 immediately >>]( [Chip in $100 immediately >>]( [Or chip in another amount >>]( Three things are clear: - Project 2025 is a wrecking ball for democracy and our fundamental rights. - Trump is an aspiring dictator who won’t hesitate to carry out this plan if he gets back to the White House. - We're dangerously vulnerable to letting that happen. Even worse is that if Democrats fail to win the House, Trump will have an extreme rubber-stamp majority to sign off on everything Project 2025 entails. But the good news is that it’s never too late to act. If every grassroots Democrat reading this email joins me and my task force colleagues and steps up against Project 2025, we can make sure this nefarious plan remains a Republican fantasy. [If you’re ready to stand with me against Project 2025, can you chip in $3 to the DCCC today to stop the MAGA majority’s extreme agenda? We need all hands on deck at this critical moment.]( Thank you, Congressman Jared Huffman [Chip in a weekly recurring $1 to elect House Dems >>]( [Chip in a monthly recurring $5 to elect House Dems >>]( Emails are a crucial way for the DCCC to stay in touch with supporters.
