By continuing to use DataCamp, you agree to our updated Terms. We encourage you to read the new Terms in their entirety, but here's a brief overview of the main changes: • We made the introduction easier to read by distinguishing between an individual user, a classroom user and a business user. • We also made our age and consent requirements clearer. ⚬ To register and use DataCamp, children must meet the following requirements: ⚬ If you are under 18 years old, you must have the consent of your parent or legal guardian before you can register to use DataCamp. In addition: ⚬ If you are an Individual Plan subscription holder, you must be at least 16 years old before you can register to use DataCamp; or ⚬ If you are a Classroom User, you must be at least 13 years old and your professor, teacher or instructor must obtain any applicable consents from, and provide any applicable notices to, your parent or legal guardian before you can register to use DataCamp. ⚬ If you are a Business Plan subscription holder, you must obtain any applicable consents from, and provide any applicable notices to, your Business Users before they can register to use DataCamp. • We added a new section for free trials and beta services, covering our obligations and liability to you with respect to such services. • We clarified our right to use aggregated or anonymous usage data from our platform. • We clarified the type of content you can use on the platform (for example, sensitive information is prohibited). • Since we’re a global e-learning platform, we incorporated our [Data Processing Addendum]( into our Terms for our Business Plan subscription holders to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws. • We clarified that the limitations of liability included in the Terms represent a fair allocation of risk between DataCamp and you due to the pricing we offer you. • We added federal government end use provisions for our government clients. • We expanded your export compliance obligations and added anti-bribery language. • We made general changes to improve the clarity and consistency of our Terms. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
