[()] --------------------------------------------------------------- [J. Crew Sportcoats & Sweaters, Bonobos Moleskin, Cords, Flannels… & More – The Thurs. Sales Handful] Posted: 12 Jan 2017 03:00 AM PST Sales that deserve some attention heading into the weekend or a bit earlier. Might not be some massive once a year event, but still worth a look. Those are what make up these handfuls. Five of the better sales, one for each finger, are below, plus bonus sales if need be. Included are a few picks worth pointing out. [J. Crew: Extra 40% off Sale Items] + [Seasonal Suit Sale] w/ SHOPNOW [J. Crew] - [Ludlow Sportcoat in Navy Corduroy – $89.99] FINAL ($198) - [Cotton Cable Mariner Elbow Patch Shawl Collar Cardigan – $59.99] FINAL ($128) - [Dock Peacoat w/ Thinsulate – $131.99] FINAL ($298) - [Crosby Fit Moon Mills Half Lined Tweed Sportcoat – $131.99] FINAL ($298) - [Lambswool Three Pocked Shawl Cardigan – $71.99] FINAL ($148) - [Lambswool Shawl Collar Pullover – $47.99] FINAL ($98) - [Goodyear Welted Kenton Leather Pacer Boots in Chestnut – $137.40] ($248) they’re back! for now… The good news? J. Crew’s sale section is stacked right now. Not a better time to save cash if you’re a fan of J. Crew’s sweaters and sportcoats. The bad news is that the vast majority of it is final sale. So you best know your size and be prepared to be stuck with something if it doesn’t work out in person. Meanwhile, [the seasonal suit sale] is getting lots of run through their promotional channels, but most of these suits have been up for codes in the not too distant past. Just quietly. Still, 40% off a half-canvas number from J. Crew isn’t half bad. Stock on the sale items can move quick, but at post time, picks above had at least decent size availability left. For now. Code SHOPNOW expires Sunday, 1/15. Suit sale ends today, 1/12. Gustin: [Made in the USA Canvas Blazers – $139] [Gustin Made in the USA Canvas Blazers] The Obvious Pick: [Made in the USA Canvas Blazer in Navy], [Grey], [Army Green], or [Dark Oak] – $139 Very interesting. 12 oz duck canvas sportcoats, in four different colors, in what they’re calling a shape that’s “nicely tailored but still easy to wear.” Fully lined in chambray. Sizing isn’t in measured chest sizes, but the expected, more casual, XS – XXL sizing scheme. Since this is Gustin, you’re prefunding the making of the garments, and they won’t be delivered until March or April. And [remember that returns aren’t for cash]. They’re for an exchange (if you’re lucky) or potentially store credit. Still… $140 for a made in California, casual canvas sportcoat is something that should be applauded. Really hope these work out for everyone who jumps on board. And they’re getting funded… quick. [Bonobos: Extra 30% off FINAL Sale Styles with GETIT30] [Bonobos] - [Fireside Flannels – $82.60] FINAL ($128) multiple colors - [Made in the USA French Corders – $75.60] FINAL ($128) multiple colors - [Moleskin 5-Pockets – $89.60] FINAL ($148) multiple colors - [Merino Henley – $68.60] FINAL ($118) multiple colors - [Unconstructed Italian Wool Blazer in Heather Navy – $224] FINAL ($400) - [Lambswool Cable Crew – $82.60] FINAL ($138) Yep. It all appears to be final sale. Which stinks. But the Bonobos fans be lickin’ their chops. Because their winter pants are now nicely discounted, and there’s plenty to gawk at in terms of more tailored stuff (like that unconstructed Italian wool navy heather blazer). Plus, if you prefer your sweaters and knits to sit closer to your body, their slim fit is a nice and true trim cut through the sides and arms. Code expires tomorrow, 1/13/17. [UNIQLO: $10 off Jeans (selvedge included)Â] [UNIQLO Denim] - [Regular Fit Jeans – $39.90] ($49.90) - [Stretch Selvedge Slim Fit Jeans – $39.90] ($49.90) As a card carrying member of team thunder thighs… UNIQLO jeans just aren’t gonna fit into my own personal wardrobe. But from what I understand, some of you fellas sure seem to like em’. Multiple washes available in either the regular fit, plain ol’ denim (from Kaihara no less), or the stretch selvedge, which has 2% spandex in the mix. [Billy Reid: Extra 25% off Sale Items w/ SALEONSALE] [Billy Reid] - [Made in the USA Quail Jacket – $224.62] FINAL ($595) - [Wool/Cashmere Calvin Sportcoat – $224.62] FINAL ($625) - [Quilted Vest – $149.25] ($325) - [Made in the USA Mini Parachute Bag – $111.75] ($295) - [Boiled Wool Cardigan – $149.62] FINAL ($395) - [Made in the USA Micro Dot Knit Tie – $51.75] ($125) Remember, we’re talking Billy Reid here, so even on sale some of their stuff is gonna be pretty darn pricey. And be careful of final sale items. No returns on that stuff. Also worth a mention: - [Banana Republic]: 40% off reg. priced items, 50% off sale items (BR Picks, Monogram, 100% cashmere, and leather apparel are excluded). - [Club Monaco]: Extra 40% off sale items, no code needed. - [GAP]: 40% off w/ WINTER - [Allen Edmonds]: $100 off regular price boots. [Picks here]. [Steal Alert: $100 off Allen Edmonds Boots] Posted: 11 Jan 2017 08:00 AM PST [Allen Edmonds Full Priced Boots = Now $100 Off] Have some of these models gone for less during odd, one off sales at 3rd party vendors? Yes. Is $100 off AE’s line of boots still a really solid deal that’s worth a mention? Also yes. We got a lot of boot weather left. And if you’re a fan of Allen Edmonds, or, been thinking about upgrading to a pair of their Port Washington made shoes or boots, now’s not a bad time if you’re looking to keep those ankles warm. Quick picks are below, and do note that if you’re willing to do the Factory 2nds dance, they’ve got some pretty significant savings going on over there too. (Like Daltons for… $279. Not bad at all.) [Dalton Wingtip Boot in Calfskin – $345] ($445) [Dalton Wingtip Boot in Calfskin] A bit of a legend and for good reason. Available in pretty much the full range of calfskin (walnut as shown above, dark chocolate, oxblood, dark chili, and black). Comes standard with a leather sole, or, [a Danite rubber sole is also available in Walnut or Black]. But just those two colors get the Danite option. [Review here]. [Cordovan is also on sale], but be warned it’s up there in price, even at $100 off. [Higgins Mill Boot in Brown, Natural, or Black  – $250] ($350) [Allen Edmonds Higgins Mill Boots] A steal at this price. The perfect blend of function and aesthetics. The toe box isn’t nearly as tall or bulky compared to other traditional work style boots, yet it’s not some razor sharp & slim toe either. Beautiful Horween leather is the star of the show. No extra stitching or funky design details. Suede tongue is a nice, subtle touch. Picked up a pair in the Natural Chromexcel (shown at the top of this post) before the winter really set in, and they’ve been an almost constant companion. Holding up just fine too. [Dundee 2.0 Leather Chukkas – $295] ($395) [Dundee 2.0 Leather Chukkas] Kinda spendy for a simple leather chukka, but really not that bad considering that [the somewhat similar Massdrop suede chukka went for around $240], those were suede and not smooth calfskin, and you had to wait a few months to get em’. Available in dark brown, walnut, or black. [Fifth Street in Black or Brown Calfskin – $295] ($395) [Fifth Street in Black Calfskin] Very dressy. Made on the same last as the Strand. Pretty much a Fifth Ave / Strand hybrid, only in boot form. [Liverpool Chelsea in Walnut, Black,] or [Chocolate Suede – $345] ($445) [AE Liverpool Chelsea] Gorgeous. Darn friggin’ gorgeous. Super sleek but not too pointy. Seems like the uppers are made from an upgraded (even for AE) grade of calfskin? Available in walnut (shown above), black, or a bitter chocolate suede. Comes standard with a slim, v-tread sole for grip. [Full review here]. All but Sold Out: [First Ave. Cap Toe Boots – $297] ($445) [First Ave. Cap Toe Boots] Not technically a part of this sale. More than a $100 off, but in clearance. And sadly, hardly any sizes left. They just introduced this model. Are they really discontinuing it already? If that’s the case… damn. Loved these things. [Full review here]. The Allen Edmonds $100 off regular priced boots deal runs clear through January 28th. So no rush. Unless you’re worried about something selling out from under your nose. Like those First Avenue boots did to me and my schnoz. Fiddlesticks. You are subscribed to email updates from [Dappered Style Mail]. To stop receiving these emails, you may [unsubscribe now].
