[Dappered | Carmina Oxfords, 40% off Orient’s Mako USA II, & More – The Thurs. Men’s Sales Handful]() --------------------------------------------------------------- [Carmina Oxfords, 40% off Orient’s Mako USA II, & More – The Thurs. Men’s Sales Handful](r/Dappered/~3/P0BOCDVDvHc/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email) Posted: 09 Aug 2018 03:00 AM PDT Sales that deserve some attention heading into the weekend or a bit earlier. Might not be some massive once a year event, but still worth a look. Those are what make up these handfuls. Five of the better sales, one for each finger, are below, plus bonus sales if need be. Included are a few picks worth pointing out. [Massdrop x Carmina Wingtip Oxfords – $349.99]( FINAL [Carmina Wingtip Oxford]( For the shoe hounds out there. Made in Spain, Goodyear welted, fancy-friggin’-pants wingtips. True oxford lacing. Channeled and beveled Rendenbach sole. Heck, they’re even throwing in red velvet dust bags and shoe trees. Final sale though. Which stinks. [Make sure you study that sizing chart](. [Nordstrom: New additions to their sale section]( [Nordstrom]( - [Cole Haan GrandPro Tennis Stitchlite Sneaker – $76.95]( ($110) - [Cole Haan GrandPro Perforated Low Top Sneaker – $99.95]( ($150) - [Frye Carter Slim Briefcase – $173.96]( ($348) - [Nordstrom Trim Fit Solid Stretch Dress Shirt – $39.20]( ($49.50) - [Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic Canvas Strap Watch, 42mm – $633.25]( ($745) - [Bonobos Slim Fit Stretch Washed Chinos – $48.98]( ($98) - [Bonobos Straight Fit Washed Chinos – $43.98]( ($88) - [Bonobos Stretch Washed Chino 9-Inch Shorts – $38.98]( ($78) - [Nordstrom Classic Fit Solid Wool Sport Coat – $149.99]( ($299) So the Anniversary sale is gone… and what does Nordstrom do? They smartly try to keep some of the attention on them. Seems like some of these things that JUST hit their sale/clearance section might have been in the anniversary sale? Those Cole Haans? I think? And as always, it all ships and returns for free. Man. Check out that color palate above. [That’s pretty much Cascadia right there](. [Best Made Co: Bonded Canvas Duffel – $139]( ($228) | [J. Crew: Ludlow Duffel – $123.99](//www.jcrew.com/p/mens_category/bags/travelbags/ludlow-weekender-bag/H3286?sale=true&color_name=navy-black&isFromSale=true) ($248) [Best Made Co. & J. Crew] Who needs new luggage? Both of these things are approximately the same size. Both are made overseas. Both are on mega sale. Yes, there are less expensive options. But these are still worth a mention. [Jack Erwin: New Styles Added to 50% off Final Sale](//www.jackerwin.com/collections/sale) [Jack Erwin](//www.jackerwin.com/collections/sale) - [Chase Chelsea Boot – $105](//www.jackerwin.com/collections/sale/products/chase?variant=12467453853782) FINAL ($210) - [Chester Rubber Sole Cap-Toe Ankle Boot – $110](//www.jackerwin.com/collections/sale/products/chester?variant=5505155432463) FINAL ($220) - [Carter Wingtip Boot Boot – $110](//www.jackerwin.com/collections/sale/products/carter?variant=5505152679951) FINAL ($220) - [Charlie Penny Loafer – $87.50](//www.jackerwin.com/collections/sale/products/charlie?variant=5505153597455) FINAL ($175) Anybody else a little worried about Jack Erwin? These are some pretty serious cuts. And they’ve never done a sale before. And it’s final sale, so, no returns. Made in Spain with stitched soles. Not bad for around a hundred bucks. Or less. [More picks over here](. [Orient: 40% off (no exclusions?) w/ B2S2018]( [Orient Mako II]( The Pick: [Orient’s Sapphire Crystal, Solid End-Links, Mako USA II – $270]( ($450) The good news is that the 40% off code applies to the almost-always-excluded Mako USA II. The bad news? The retail price on the Mako USA II has gone up to $450. Still, if you like medium sized divers (this one is 41.5mm) it’s a really nice watch. In house movement of course. 200m water resistance. Not clunky, with a good feel to it too. [Full review here](. Also worth a mention: - [Allen Edmonds]( Looks like they’re discontinuing brown burnished (word is they’ll still have a brown, just less “burnished”). - [J. Crew Factory](//factory.jcrew.com/): 40% – 60% off everything (with exclusions of course). - [Jomers]( They just released a collection of Japanese fabric bull-denim 5-pockets for $48 a piece. Only inseam is 34″ though. So, you either best be tall, or be ready to have them hemmed. - [Billy Reid]( Looks like they’re taking final reductions on their final sale stuff? - [Bonobos]( [A BUNCH of new arrivals]( (especially tailored stuff… scroll down) and the 20% off code ECLIPSE20 should still be running? ff/Dappered?a=P0BOCDVDvHc:KTPgtWiawDI:yIl2AUoC8zA ff/Dappered?a=P0BOCDVDvHc:KTPgtWiawDI:qj6IDK7rITs ff/Dappered?a=P0BOCDVDvHc:KTPgtWiawDI:gIN9vFwOqvQ [Quick Picks: Lands’ End 50% off 1 Reg. Priced Item One Day Sale](r/Dappered/~3/kPkK4WlCj3c/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email) Posted: 08 Aug 2018 10:44 AM PDT [L.E.: Half off ONE Regular Priced Item w/ MELON & 3668](//www.landsend.com/shop/mens/-/N-fz6?cm_re=lec-_-global-_-glbnv-men-_-20160316-_-txt) (exp 8/8/18) Lands’ End seems to have clammed up when it comes to new arrivals. There’s just not a TON of new stuff to pick from. But half off is as good as it gets for Lands’ End. So while it doesn’t work on sale items, and there’s not a boatload of new fall arrivals available yet, it still felt like this was worth a mention. Code MELON and pin 3668 is set to expire today. And again, it won’t work on more than one thing in your cart. Just one item. Off we go. [Tailored Fit Wool Year’rounder Dress Pants – $44.97](//www.landsend.com/shop/search?initialSearch=true&Ntt=Men%27s+Tailored+Fit+Wool+Year%27rounder+Dress+Trousers) ($89.95) [Flat Front Tailored Fit Wool Year ’rounder Dress Pants](//www.landsend.com/shop/search?initialSearch=true&Ntt=Men%27s+Tailored+Fit+Wool+Year%27rounder+Dress+Trousers) Obligatory. For those that work in a more formal than smart-casual work environment, these things can be wallet-savers. Nice, lighter weight merino wool. Lots of colors to pick from and you can have em’ hemmed before they leave the warehouse. [Also available in a traditional fit](. [Tailored Fit Comfort-First Knit Blazer – $99.50](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-tailored-fit-comfort-first-knit-blazer/id_326731?sku_0=::BTZ) ($199) //www.landsend.com/products/mens-tailored-fit-comfort-first-knit-blazer/id_326731?sku_0=::BTZ Two observations. First? Lands’ End looks to be pushing turtlenecks this year. Noted. Second, ignore the turtlenecks (if that’s not your thing) and focus on those sportcoats. Huge potential here. Unstructured, has stretch, totally unlined back, and an engineered poly/wool blend fabric for comfort. Got one on the way for an in-person. Hopefully these things are as good in person as I am excited about them. 65% polyester/23% wool/12% cotton blend. Big thanks to Brandon D. for the tip on these. [Also available in a traditional fit.](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-traditional-fit-comfort-first-knit-blazer/id_326732?sku_0=::X2Z) [Tailored Fit Half-Canvas Italian Wool Blazer – $149.50](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-tailored-fit-italian-wool-navy-blazer/id_307554_59?cm_mmc=CJ-_-Lands%27+End+Product+Catalog-_-3059429_4025845-_-Dappered&CJSID=&AID=11109269&PID=4025845) ($299) [Lands' End Tailored Fit Half-Canvas Italian Wool Blazer](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-tailored-fit-italian-wool-navy-blazer/id_307554_59?cm_mmc=CJ-_-Lands%27+End+Product+Catalog-_-3059429_4025845-_-Dappered&CJSID=&AID=11109269&PID=4025845) Now, while the wool isn’t luxurious, it’s a hell of a price for a half canvas do-anything navy blazer. [Full review here.]( Also available [in a traditional fit](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-traditional-fit-comero-italian-wool-navy-blazer/id_307555?sku_0=::NAV). Also pictured at the top of this post. [Volley Swim Trunks in 8″ Print](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-8-print-volley-swim-trunks/id_318250?sku_0=::50S) or [Solid](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-8-solid-volley-swim-trunks/id_318251?sku_0=::28X), or [6″ Print – $19.97](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-6-print-volley-swim-trunks/id_318247?sku_0=::5LP) ($39.95) [LE Volley Swim Trunk](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-8-solid-volley-swim-trunks/id_318251?sku_0=::28X) The volley trunk from Lands’ End is one of the better, affordable (borderline dirt cheap) swim trunk designs out there. Good looking prints and solids, a mesh liner, and a few different lengths. [Waxed Canvas Zip Top Tote Bag – $49.97](//www.landsend.com/products/waxed-canvas-zip-top-tote-bag/id_314630?sku_0=::BRO) ($99.95) //www.landsend.com/products/waxed-canvas-zip-top-tote-bag/id_314630?sku_0=::BRO The zip, is it, Daddy-o. Ya dig? Absurdly handy. Stash it in the trunk of your car and it’ll make for something decent looking (and sturdy) to grab for quick errands and grocery trips. Also does great for trips to the beach. [Comfort-First Denim Trucker Jacket – $39.97](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-comfort-first-denim-trucker-jacket/id_325568?sku_0=::ABE) ($79.95) //www.landsend.com/products/mens-comfort-first-denim-trucker-jacket/id_325568?sku_0=::ABE Denim jackets are NOT for everyone. Totally understand that. But if you’re denim-trucker-curious, and want to give one a shot without breaking the bank, forty bucks isn’t too high of an asking price. Garment-washed to feel soft and broken in the first time you put it on. Which is good, since a lot of denim jackets can feel like you’re putting on a rusty suit of armor. 99% cotton and 1% stretch. [Tailored Fit Supima Oxford Hyde Park Dress Shirt – $24.97](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-supima-hyde-park-oxford-dress-shirt/id_10667?CM_MERCH=DTP_SEARCH_null&action=DTP_SEARCH_null&query=Mens%20Tailored%20Fit%20Solid%20Supima%20Oxford%20Hyde%20Park%20Dress%20Shirt) ($49.95) [LE Tailored Fit Supima Oxford Hyde Park Dress Shirt](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-supima-hyde-park-oxford-dress-shirt/id_10667?CM_MERCH=DTP_SEARCH_null&action=DTP_SEARCH_null&query=Mens%20Tailored%20Fit%20Solid%20Supima%20Oxford%20Hyde%20Park%20Dress%20Shirt) Neck and sleeve sizing instead of ballpark S/M/L. Supima cotton. A basic, but a well executed basic. More dress-shirt like than casual, thick OCBD. Thinner than a squishy OCBD you’d wear untucked under a sweater with jeans and sneakers. Available in classic or tailored. If you want tailored, don’t forget to click that option when selecting your size. [Tailored Fit Buttondown Sail Rigger Oxford – $19.97]( ($39.95) [Tailored Fit Buttondown Sail Rigger Oxford]( A more casual, rumpled version of their Hyde Park oxfords. Multiple colors to pick from. Kinda a bummer that free shipping doesn’t kick in until $50 though. Note that there are three fit options on these things. There’s traditional, tailored, and slim. Don’t forget to click on one of those before you pick your size. [Waxed Canvas Backpack – $74.50](//www.landsend.com/products/waxed-canvas-backpack/id_326488?sku_0=::BRO) ($149) //www.landsend.com/products/waxed-canvas-backpack/id_326488?sku_0=::BRO Makes me wanna yodel. Waxed canvas with tanned-in-Wisconsin leather accents. 12″W x 6″D x 19″H. Certainly has a retro vibe going for it, but unlike a lot of other traditional rucksacks, this one actually has some padding to the straps and the back of the bag. [Slim Fit Performance Travel Pants – $49.97](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-slim-fit-comfort-first-performance-travel-pants/id_326681?sku_0=::1MX) ($99.95) Gotta say I’m intrigued by these. 71% cotton/24% polyester/5% spandex blend fabric that’s supposed to breathe, wick, and stretch with ease. As the worlds of technical garments and style continue to smash into each other at a break neck pace, these might be a cheap way to dip a toe (or a couple of legs) in those waters. [Primaloft Quilted Jacket – $74.50](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-primaloft-quilted-car-coat/id_313553?sku_0=::CLN) ($149) [L.E. Quilted Jacket](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-primaloft-quilted-car-coat/id_313553?sku_0=::CLN) I mean, it’s fun to think about fall, right? Classic, Barbour-like sporting looks without the heritage brand price tag. Corduroy collar, brass-tone snaps, raglan sleeves, and a vent in the rear for ease of movement. [Suede Belt – $24.97](//www.landsend.com/products/mens-suede-belt/id_325978?sku_0=::DGA) ($49.95) //www.landsend.com/products/mens-suede-belt/id_325978?sku_0=::DGA Don’t dismiss that gray. Gray suede belts are a lot more versatile than you think. And these are a regular buckle style, so, no risk of a d-ring style that doesn’t grab and slips all day. [Waxed Canvas Brief – $64.50](//www.landsend.com/products/waxed-canvas-briefcase/id_314628?sku_0=::CLN) ($129) | [Duffel Bag – $79.50](//www.landsend.com/products/waxed-canvas-duffle-bag/id_314629?sku_0=::CLN) ($159) [Lands' End Bags](//www.landsend.com/products/waxed-canvas-briefcase/id_314628?sku_0=::CLN) Pretty cheap for waxed canvas and leather trim. You just gotta be okay with that big Lands’ End branding patch. Briefcase dimensions are 16”L x 12”H x 4.5”D.  Duffel is 24”L x 11”H x 11”D. [The Dappered Space]( Pick: [Oxford Solid Sheet Set – $59.50 – $89.50]( [Lands' End Oxford Solid Sheet Set]( They’re made out of the exact same, cool and crisp fabric that Lands’ End makes their oxford shirts out of. Price range above indicates what you pay depending on your mattress size (twin, full, queen, king). [Pendleton Stadium Blanket – $84.50](//www.landsend.com/products/pendleton-stadium-blanket/id_326754?sku_0=::B24) ($169) //www.landsend.com/products/pendleton-stadium-blanket/id_326754?sku_0=::B24 For you tailgating / picnic / outdoor concert types. Pendleton wool on one side, sturdy nylon back makes for easy drying/cleaning. “Crafted by Pendleton in the Pacific Northwest.” Told you there wasn’t a ton of new arrivals just yet. Anyway, the 50% off 1 regular priced item code and pin MELON & 3668 expires today, 8/8/18. Free shipping kicks in at fifty bucks. ff/Dappered?a=kPkK4WlCj3c:qXhk-Wly-9k:yIl2AUoC8zA ff/Dappered?a=kPkK4WlCj3c:qXhk-Wly-9k:qj6IDK7rITs ff/Dappered?a=kPkK4WlCj3c:qXhk-Wly-9k:gIN9vFwOqvQ You are subscribed to email updates from [Dappered Style Mail]().
