As we move into the new year, I've been thinking about how to continue what we started. Let me tell

As we move into the new year, I've been thinking about how to continue what we started. [Dan McCready for Congress] {NAME} - As we move into the new year, I’ve been thinking about how to continue what we started. Last year, we made history by standing up to election fraud and showing the whole country that Democrats can compete in the toughest of districts. Meanwhile, Democrats took the majority in the House of Representatives, providing a desperately needed check on the President. Now, with so much at stake in one of the most important election years of our lifetime, we've got to keep up the fight for our democratic values. Today, I’m writing you about one of the best ways I’ve seen to make a difference this year. [Make a donation to join me in supporting a group of fellow military veterans who can win tough congressional districts in November — help us hold onto and expand the Democratic majority in the House, and add new voices to help fix Washington.](3D%3D/?g=xrBsSK_HJ6FdX4IHsd-sLw) Let me tell you why this matters to me. When I felt the calling to serve our country in Congress and help bring our country back together, I wasn’t alone. Young veterans across the country felt the same way. We campaigned together, and leaned on each other for perspective to get through the challenges of our campaigns. Many of these veterans won their elections in 2018 and are already standing up in Congress to put people before the partisan division. Now, these veterans have banded together to launch Second Service Coalition, a partnership to support their re-elections, along with the campaigns of other House candidates with national security backgrounds who are running in similar swing districts. It's an all-star team. The co-chairs are Representatives Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06), Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), Jason Crow (CO-06), and Max Rose (NY-11). Advising the coalition are the same people who recruited me to run: an extraordinary organization called New Politics, which works across our country to transform our politics by electing more military veterans and national service alumni, and my good friend Congressman Seth Moulton (MA-06). Covering the coalition’s launch this week, the Washington Post called this movement “an increasingly robust force in electoral politics.” [Please join me in chipping in today to help elect leaders who can win the most competitive districts and who are dedicated to fixing our politics.](3D%3D/?g=xrBsSK_HJ6FdX4IHsd-sLw) Yours in the fight, Dan [DONATE](3D%3D/?g=xrBsSK_HJ6FdX4IHsd-sLw) --------------------------------------------------------------- Paid for by McCready for Congress Dan McCready is a former member of the United States Marines.
