I'm very aware that I'm Mitch McConnell's target next year. . --------------------------------------

I'm very aware that I'm Mitch McConnell's target next year. [Dan McCready for Congress] Senator Doug Jones is a Democrat running for re-election in Alabama. He's facing another tough fight, and it's critical that we help him hold this seat. If you don't want to receive email updates from Doug about his race you can [opt-out here](3D/?g=xrBsSK_HJ6FdX4IHsd-sLw). --------------------------------------------------------------- {NAME}- I'm very aware that I'm Mitch McConnell's target next year. I'm a Democrat in a traditionally red state. I understand why McConnell and the extremists he's supporting are coming after me. But there's much more at stake than just my seat. This election is about protecting our health care, especially for those with pre-existing conditions, standing up for equality, and defending our elections from foreign interference. [ADD YOUR NAME: STAND WITH DOUG](3D/?g=xrBsSK_HJ6FdX4IHsd-sLw) I know you're probably thinking "A Democrat winning in Alabama? In today's political environment?" Well, yes. A Democrat can win again in Alabama. Here's why: People are sick of all the division and the chaos coming from Washington. McConnell and his extremists have blocked nearly every major piece of legislation that the American people actually want passed. And now they're getting desperate: CNN is reporting that Jeff Sessions is supposedly "strongly considering" getting into the race. At a time when hyper-partisanship is dividing our country and preventing us from getting anything done, they're turning to a career politician who himself is too extreme and divisive. I'm calling my campaign "One Alabama" because I know that unity will always beat division. People want to come together, and the numbers agree: our latest polls show I'm beating every one of my divisive Republican challengers head to head. [We've got a strong movement building to win this thing again, but I need your help. {NAME}, if we're going to keep fighting for equality, health care, and progress, we just have to beat Mitch McConnell and hold Alabama next year. Are you with me?](3D/?g=xrBsSK_HJ6FdX4IHsd-sLw) Thank you for your support. -Sen.
