The 15-member Dallas City Council voted unanimously to regulate the operating hours of businesses that also include adult video, book and novelty stores, some of which operate 24 hours. The vote came over the objections of close to 100 protesters outside of City Hall before the council meeting started and dozens of mostly strip club workers and supporters who spoke in opposition to the plan.
