This time, it’s Democratic and moderate Republican activists taking aim at its financial support for burgeoning right-wing extremism in the U.S. The ire stems from newly surfaced court testimony and records suggesting right-wing broadcast network One America News Network wouldn’t exist without AT&T’s backing. A week into the festering controversy, AT&T’s only public comment is a prepared statement to The Dallas Morning News.
