Officers were dispatched about 9:15 a.m. to the 4700 block of Meadow Street, near Elsie Faye Heggins Street, where they found Hope Janicenassia Hensley with a gunshot wound, Dallas police said. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police had said earlier that Hensley was shot in the neck when a projectile "came through the window."
