Some worry proposed changes would be ‘suppression’]( Dallas ISD wants to limit the time parents, students, teachers, and others can directly speak to the elected board. Proposed changes to DISD’s public comment policy would significantly limit the amount of time community members have to address the school board to one hour in most cases. Trustees are expected to vote on the suggested policy change at a Dec. 17 meeting. If approved, [speakers will only have two minutes to make comments]( down from three minutes.
