Now they’re suing for reforms]( A mother whose family was roughed up by DeSoto police after she called 911 filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the Dallas suburb on Monday, seeking reforms to protect other African American residents. The claim alleges Sammie Anderson and two of her adult sons, Grant and Sam Bible, [were victims of racial profiling, excessive force and unlawful detention]( by six officers who responded to their home in August 2018. American ran seasonal service last year between DFW and Monterey Regional Airport, giving North Texans access to the mountainous coastal area about 80 miles south of San Francisco.
