The district vowed last year that toughened-up residency requirements would stop suburban parents from sneaking their kids into the nationally recognized school. So what better time to put the fear of God into would-be cheaters than at the very beginning of the process?
Instead, the schoolâs enticing presentation, "Do you want to be a Pegasus?" â its mascot is the mythical winged horse â [put on blinders to the entire scandal.](

DALLAS
[Dallas police investigation into Vice Unit found âinsufficient evidenceâ for any criminal charges, DPD says](
Dallas police officials said in a statement today that after a nearly three-year internal investigation, [they have disciplined more than 20 officers who were previously part of the vice unit.](
But detectives and supervisors previously in the unit will not be charged with any criminal offenses after they admittedly replaced confidential funds with gambling winnings and failed to place evidence into the property room, DPD officials said Wednesday.
